Safety

Safety is Pacific National's first priority. Already we have reduced the rate of workplace injuries and intend to reduce them even further.

Pacific National has:

• A zero drug and alcohol policy.
• A comprehensive fatigue management system.
• Proactive hazard identification and control processes to eliminate incidents.
• Competency based employee training, assessment and certification.
• Active involvement in industry efforts to improve level crossing safety.

Pacific National takes a leading role in the standardisation and harmonisation of rail industry accreditation processes, safeworking rules, and development of industry wide Codes of Practice.
